VetsFest Fundraiser

Join us for the 2nd Annual VetsFest Fundraiser. Suggested donation is $10.00 at the door. There will be a silent auction. All proceeds will go to fund the VetsFest Music Festival to be held on July, 2020. We hope to see many fans of live music and dance, as well as fellow veterans supporting this event.

There will be a group free basic east coast swing lesson from 12:00 – 12:45 pm. No partner is needed because participants will rotate.

We would appreciate any donations for the silent auction that day.
Examples: gift cards, movie passes, sporting game or recreational tickets, hand crafted items, gift baskets, etc. If you would like to donate please private message Tam S. thru the GOGS posted event.

Free parking in the back, on the side of the building and across the street. Don’t park in front of the lamplighter. You will get ticketed and towed.

11:00 – Doors open to the public
12:00 – Kitchen opens for food orders
12:00 – 12:45 – Free Basic East Coast Swing Lesson
1:00 – 5:30 – Pat McLaughlin Band and Craig Clark Band
4:15 – Silent Auction Ends

Suggested donation is $10.00 at the door. There will be a silent auction. All proceeds will go to fund the VetsFest Music Festival to be held in July, 2020.   I hope to see many fellow veterans supporting this event.

VetsFest ’18

VetsFest will take place at Richard B. Walton Park, 1548 Hadley Ave. Oakdale MN  on Saturday July 7, 2018 from 11am until 6pm.

Music will be provided by The Pat McLaughlin Band, and 2 other bands to be determined at a later date.

The festival will include a Huey helicopter reenactment.  The chopper will land and troops will disembark and set up a perimeter.  Once they are ready to be extracted, they will pop smoke and a second chopper will land.  Festival goers will have the opportunity to examine the choppers close up.  There will also be a vintage war plane flyover.

Help celebrate the 4th of July weekend by attending and honoring all of our country’s veterans.

This is a family event and admission is free!

VetsFest Fundraiser

We will be having a fundraiser for the VetsFest  2018 Music Festival. This fundraiser will be held at Wilebski’s Blues Saloon, 1638 Rice St, St Paul MN. The fundraiser will start at noon, and will go until 6pm. The three bands featured will be Squishy Mud, The Harrison St Band, and The Pat McLaughlin Band. Suggested donation $10 at the door. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and there will be a silent action. All proceeds will be applied to the VetsFest 2018 event, which will be held at Richard Walton Park in Oakdale MN on July 7, 2018. VetsFest will be free to the Public. We’ve partnered with the City of Oakdale MN to bring you this special event.
